Fortnite is an ecosystem of games and experiences made by different developers, including Epic Games, where players can play, create, and hang with friends in an always-evolving space. Rewards earned in Fortnite may include outfits (different cosmetic appearances for characters) or other fun items players can use in the game. 

Playing Fortnite requires an Epic Games account and is available to download for free on PC, console, and mobile devices.

It's an integrated experience between the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run theme park attraction and Fortnite. Guests who accept the mission or link accounts prior to their visit to Disneyland Park or Disney's Hollywood Studios will be able to collect crates that will earn a reward from Fortnite when they experience the attraction.

The attraction is located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the following Disney theme parks:

• Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California
• Disney's Hollywood Studios near Orlando, Florida

Sharing Disney Experiences data enables Epic Games to offer personalized experiences inside Fortnite. It is up to you if you would like to share data. At this time, data sharing is limited to information about your ride on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run; however, data sharing in the future may include purchase and in-person activity data (such as Character experiences, entertainment, and attractions) across Disney Parks, Signature Experiences, and Consumer Products.

To make sure you receive your reward in Fortnite, you must:

• Accept Hondo's mission in the My Disney Experience or Disneyland app
• Set your location sharing permissions to “always on”
• Ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at the park
• Consent to data sharing between Disney and Epic Games

If you want to share your reward with others, you will need to set up a MyDisney family account.

To receive a reward, children must have permission from a parent or guardian to link their MyDisney and Epic Games accounts. If you're not eligible to link accounts or share data, but have visited the park and ridden Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, we'll provide a code you can redeem for a reward from Fortnite.

Account linking is not available in all areas and also requires having both an eligible Epic Games account and a MyDisney account. If you do not see the account linking button in your Epic Games account profile, or are not able to complete account linking with MyDisney, you are not eligible to link your Epic Games account to a MyDisney account.

In most countries, Disney+ uses your MyDisney account for login. Only one MyDisney account can be linked to an Epic Games account.

MyDisney family lets Disney guests create and manage a family across Disney services andexperiences. At this time, MyDisney family is limited to sharing information about your ride onMillennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with other members of your family. Your MyDisney family can include up to seven people (including you).

MyDisney family is separate from the Family & Friends list at Walt Disney World Resort. Connecting and disconnecting accounts in Family & Friends does not affect your MyDisney family status, which you can manage here.

Make sure you have created an account for your child, which will add them to your family group.

Yes. Even if you are not eligible to link accounts, you will still be able to receive a Fortnite reward after riding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Guests who complete the special mission on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run but are not able to link their MyDisney and Epic Games accounts will be able to claim their reward in Fortnite by going to Disneydigital.com/fortnite.
